Randy was born December 24, 1957 to the union of the late George and Edith Bland Farrar. In 1977, he graduated from Nottoway Senior High School. After graduation, Randy was employed by Governor Douglas Wilder Administration as a mail clerk. His work history also included employment with McCanliss and Houlton Law Firm and Troutman and Sanders Law Firm.
Randy had a kind spirit and showed it by loving his family and friends. He had the love of God and Jesus in his heart. Randy enjoyed traveling to Walmart to shop. His favorite team was Washington Commanders (formerly the Redskins). He was very passionate about watching his special TV shows.
The family is grateful for Warren (Poo), Randy's ride or die brother, driver, cook, and friend who was available often to assist Randy.
Randy accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at New Bethel Baptist Church. He served on the usher board at an early age. After relocating to Richmond, VA, he attended First Baptist Church.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents George, Sr. and Edith Farrar, brother Rodney Farrar, grandparents, George and Pattie Farrar, Soland and Emma Bland and grandchild Kobe Burnett.
Loving memories of Randy will forever be cherished by his daughter, Katrina Burnett (Kenny), Richmond, VA, grandchildren Kayla, Khristian, K'Israel, great children: Laia, Greyson, siblings, Sandra Branch (Harvey) Crewe, VA, Warren Farrar (Doris) Richmond, VA, Patricia Bagley, Richmond, VA, George Farrar (Karen), Midlothian, VA, Sister-in-law, Carolyn Farrar, Richmond, VA, nieces, Felicia McLemore (Andre), Latonya Bagley, Kimberly Bagley, Makeita Branch, nephews, Ralph Branch, Jr. (Lucille), Kevin Branch (Bridget), Warren Farrar, Jr., Kelvin Tucker (Teshisa), Rodney, Jr. (Jonae), Aunts, Mildred Terrell, Blackstone, VA, Shirley Jasey (Lloyd), Richmond, VA, Barbara Rumph (Isaiah), Blackstone, VA, Lois Farrar, New York, NY, Edith Farrar, Richmond, VA, and a host of beloved great nieces and nephrews, one great great niece and cousins, devoted and dedicated friend Joyce Johnson, friend and caregiver Sandra Walker, special niece and great nieces, Kimberly Bagley, Samantha Bagley and Arianne Bagley, special friend John McGammon
