Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, July 1, 2024 at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Randal Eric Rodriguez, 57, who passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024.
A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge, on Monday, July 1, 2024, from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
A Rosary will be prayed at 12:30 PM on Monday, by Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert.
Rev. Garrett McIntyre will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers and Gift bearers will be his children.
Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery #2 in Breaux Bridge.
Randal was a beloved son, father, and friend to many in the community. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and later pursued a career as a welder in the agricultural industry.
Randal was a man of many talents and interests, finding joy in fishing, cooking, playing pool, gardening, and watching sports, especially LSU games. He also had a creative side, crafting rosaries and jewelry in his spare time.
Randal was known for his warm and welcoming nature, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. He valued time spent with his family and friends, creating lasting memories that will be cherished for years to come.
Randal's legacy of kindness and generosity will forever be remembered by those whose lives he touched. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love and memories he has left behind.
He is survived by his daughter, Carley Rodriguez; son, Evan Rodriquez; mother, Rita Huval; step father, Phillip Huval; and his fur buddy, Pablo.
He is preceded in death by his father, Daniel Rodriquez; brother, Anthony Charles "Tony" Rodriquez; maternal grandparents, Frances and Ida Mae Broussard; and his paternal grandparents, Lionel and Maybell Rodriquez.
Pallbearers will be Carley and Evan Rodriquez, Toby Rodriquez, Travis Castille, Shannon Trahan, and Brent Broussard.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Rodriquez, Phillip Huval, and Neal Angelle.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
