Randal “Roy” Fleming Johnson, age 83 of Gallatin, Tennessee and formerly of Coats, North Carolina, passed away February 15, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family. Funeral Services will be 2:00PM, Friday, February 23, 2024 at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Coats, NC. Burial will follow in the Hockaday Cemetery.
Roy was born on November 17, 1940 in Harnett County, North Carolina to the late Thomas Sidney Johnson and the late China Hockaday Willis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ray Johnson and Rudolph Johnson; and his sister, Brenda Matthews.
Roy is survived by his wife of 53 years, Betty Avery Johnson; children, William Johnson (Sherri) and Randy Johnson (Leticia); grandchildren, Crystal, Leigh, Brandon, Tyler, Michael, and Sydney; 5 great-grandchildren; and brother, Ronnie Johnson.
The family will receive friends from 6:00PM-9:00PM, Thursday, February 22, 2023 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats, NC.
