Randall Ray Bosworth (Bozzy), 67, peacefully went home to the Lord on January 28, 2025, at his home in Pittsville, VA. Born on February 25, 1957, in Greensboro, NC. Randall was a loving and devoted father and grandfather that lived a life dedicated to his family, faith, and many talents. A master mechanic and innovator, Randall spent his career improving machinery through custom fabrications that enhanced both production and quality. His problem-solving skills made him an invaluable asset in his field.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Bobbi Jean Kennedy; father, Jackie Lee Bosworth; sister, Dana Faye Hart; and grandchild, Stormy Naeveh Moody.
He is survived by his only daughter, Christie Michelle Moody, and her husband, John Moody, whom Randall loved as his own son. He cherished his grandchildren: Nathaniel Ray Moody, Juliahna Paige Moody, Jazlyn Grace Moody, and Jonessa Gabriella Moody. His love for family extended to his siblings—brother Jack (Tony) Bosworth; sister Tami Stanley Reeves; and half-brothers Tommy Bosworth and Robert Bosworth—as well as his close cousin Pat Tilley Kibler. He was also surrounded by many other beloved family members and friends whom he loved deeply.
Randall had a deep love for the outdoors and found joy in hunting and fishing with his daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. As a master mechanic, he loved working on engines of all kinds and could always be found tinkering in his shop—a place where he loved to share his knowledge with others. Teaching was one of Randall’s greatest joys; he mentored many throughout his professional and personal life with patience and dedication. A devout man of faith, Randall began each morning reading the word of God. He was deeply committed to leading others to Jesus through sermons and personal guidance. His unwavering belief shaped the way he lived—always with kindness, integrity, and a willingness to help those around him. Randall's legacy lives on through the countless lives he touched as a mentor, teacher, father figure, and friend. His memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved him.
