Randall K. "Randy" Click

Randall K. “Randy” Click, of Groesbeck, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025, at age 72.

Visitation will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Groesbeck Funeral Home.

Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 4, in the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Mike Medlen officiating.

Pallbearers will be Bucky Sams, Ricky Stewart, Larry Corbin, David Lazarus, Gary Morgan and Steve Crawford. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Click, Randy Tenbrink and Andy Warren.

Randy was born April 17, 1953, to James Click and Joyce (Hawkins) Click in Pampa (Gray County), Texas. He grew up in Amarillo, where he attended school from kindergarden through graduation from Tascosa High School in Amarillo in 1972. Randy received his Business degree in Finance from Texas Tech University in 1976. He was a member of Phi Gamma Delta (Fiji) fraternity.

Randy was united in marriage with Terry Ann “Annie” Warren on July 25, 1981.  After 44 years of marriage, they were still best friends. During his years in the oil industry, they lived in various places, with the last twenty years in Plano before his retirement.

Randy was a co-founder of Cisco Energy, LLC and its subsidiaries, and served as the President, with primary responsibilities for sourcing and developing business opportunities, managing the company’s land department, and facilitating acquisition and divestiture transactions.

He was a co-founder of Grayhawk Energy, Inc. and its subsidiaries from 2004 through 2007. He served as the Corporate Development Manager, with primary responsibilities for sourcing and developing business opportunities.

From 2001 through 2004, Mr. Click served as the Corporate Development Manager for Cortez Oil & Gas, Inc., with similar responsibilities. Immediately prior to joining Cortez, Mr. Click was with Coho Resources, Inc, Dallas, TX, where he served in the capacity of District Land Manager and Land Manager for all land operations since 1998.

From 1994 through 1998, Mr. Click was Vice President of Hugoton Energy Corp. in Wichita, Kansas, handling all land operations and acquisitions and divestitures for its onshore U.S. division.

From 1991 to 1994, Mr. Click held positions at ARCO Oil and Gas Co. , Midland, TX., from Mid Continent Senior Landman to Acting Director of Acquisitions and Divestitures. He served at TXO Production Corp as District Land Manager from 1981 to 1991, where he handled the Gulf Coast, Permian Basin, Texas Panhandle and New Mexico regions.

Mr. Click was a Certified Professional Landman and a member of ADAM Energy Forum, the American Associations of Professional Landmen, as well as the Houston, Dallas, Oklahoma and Permian Basin Associations of Professional Landmen.

Randy loved to hunt – especially quail and dove. He liked to say that even if he missed his shot, he would never be outdressed by any other hunter with his fancy King Ranch duds and shotguns.

He never met a stranger, and upon meeting someone, he wanted to learn all about them. His contact list was crazy large. He was ever the gentleman, and ever so kind and charming.

Randy and Annie moved to Groesbeck after his retirement in 2017. They had been member of St. Rita’s Catholic Church while living in Dallas for 20 years. After moving to Groesbeck, they attended Lost Prairie Baptist Church. Throughout his life, his faith never waivered.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, James and Joyce Click; father-in-law, O. A. Warren, Jr.; and sister-in-law, Kenna Warren Stewart.

He is survived by his wife, Annie Click of Groesbeck; two sons, Carson Click and Jordan Click; brother and sister-in-law, Kenny and Judy Click of Amarillo; sister and brother-in-law, Michelle and Randy Tenbrink of Amarillo; mother-in-law, Pat Bellar of Groesbeck; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Andy and Lorraine Warren of Magnolia, Etta and Terry Longer of Groesbeck, Lonnie Warren of Groesbeck, and K.D. and Tina Warren of Dickinson; and many nieces and nephews.
