A gentle and kind soul, he was known for his warm smile, friendly nature, and genuine love for people. Randall had a deep appreciation for bluegrass and gospel music and could often be found playing his banjo. He also enjoyed NASCAR racing and had a lifelong fondness for Buicks.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eulee and Audrey Davidson; his brother, Dwight Davidson; and his sisters, Gwen Morrow and Patricia Smith.
He is survived by his loving spouse, Hilda Jo Davidson; daughters, Jill (David) O'Brien and Randa (Todd) Kerr; grandchildren, T.J. Kerr, Emily Ricker, Maurie Garner, Olivia Kerr, Erin Porterfield, and Maggie O'Brien; great-grandchildren, Stokes, Billy, Hazelee, Harvey, Joey, Miller, Lucy, Anna, and Walt; along with several nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Westwood Baptist Church in memory of Randall Davidson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., with a funeral service to follow at 6:00 p.m., officiated by Steve Smartt and Wayne Finnell, at Westwood Baptist Church. Randall will be laid to rest at Yukon Cemetery, in Ellijay, GA.
