Randall Norman (Randy) Eilert, 83, of Lake Stevens, Washington passed away October 4, 2025 peacefully with his wife and daughter by his side.
Randy was born in Colfax, Washington on March 28, 1942, where he lived until early 1954, then settled in Othello, Washington. Randy graduated from Othello High School in 1961.
In 1963, he married his first wife Patricia (Patti) Richardson. He then attended Columbia Basin Community College before being called to serve in the United States Navy as a Seabee, in the Vietnam War. After serving in the Navy, he attended the Art Center in California, where he graduated top of his class as an industrial designer. After college, he and Patti moved back East where he designed snowmobiles and clothing for Sno Jet and Ski Doo.
Shortly before 1972, Randy and Patti moved back to Washington. Their only child, Rachelle, was born on October 2, 1972.
Randy enjoyed a successful career working at Boeing, John Fluke, and Hewlett Packard. After retirement from Hewlett Packard, he drove a school bus for the Lake Stevens School District. The kids loved "Bus Driver Randy"!
In 1992, Randy married his second wife, Renee Lyon, and resided in Lake Stevens, Washington, where he and his cousin Nate Lyons built his house.
In 2002, Randy married his wife, Jackelyn (Jackie) Skidmore. Randy was happy to welcome Jackie's sons Tracy and Travis to his family. Randy and Jackie enjoyed their time boating, taking their motorhome on adventures, riding their Harley, and zipping around the mountains in their side by side. They spent half the year in Mesa, Arizona - first in their motorhome, then traded the motorhome for a house.
Randy loved restoring vintage cars and trucks. His pride and joy was his grandfather's 1938 International truck which he restored to mint condition, with a minor engine upgrade!
Randy could draw, design, invent, and fix anything!
