Judith “Judy” Eileen Eilert, 78, of Hesston, Kansas was born on December 22, 1945, to Keith Edward and Mary June (Osburn) Graham in Newton, KS. Judy was the oldest of seven children in the Graham family. In 1963, Judy was part of the last graduating class of Whitewater High School. She married Bobby Dean Eilert on August 22, 1964, at the Federated Church in Whitewater, KS. Bob and Judy lived in Whitewater, rural Benton and eventually settled in Furley, KS. During her years of marriage, Judy worked at Resnik Motors, Sedgwick Co-Op and Cargill, where she retired in 2012.
After retirement, Judy moved to Hesston, KS to be closer to her family. She loved spending time with her grandkids and watching them play sports. Judy also enjoyed her time outside, fishing and working in her yard. You could often find Judy volunteering as a Domino Referee at Schowalter Villa in Hesston.
Judy is survived by her son Chris (Arissa) Eilert of Hesston; grandchildren, Jacob, Ryan and Regan Eilert; brothers, John Graham, Tom (Cindy) Graham, Ted Graham; sisters Jeanne (Faron) Schroeder and Janet (Monty) Helmcamp; along with nephews Sean (Cindy) Graham, Shane (Debra) Graham, Stuart (Heather) Graham, Ross (Jill) Graham, Hayden Helmcamp, niece Kendall (Josh) Smith-Cockrum and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Judith passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. Judy is preceded in death by her husband Bob Eilert, her parents Keith and Mary June Graham, brother Alan Graham and sister-in-law Beth Graham. The family will gather Saturday November 17, 2025 at 3 p.m. for a graveside service at Green Valley Cemetery in Furley, Kansas. A Celebration of Life will follow on that day in Hesston, Kansas at 720 Yost Dr. at 430 p.m. Lamb Funeral Home, Whitewater is serving the family. Memorial contributions can be made in her honor to the ALS Association or the American Lung Association.
