Randy Good, age 63, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2026, in Logan, Utah. He was born on November 5, 1962, in Albany, New York. Randy fought a long and courageous battle with renal failure caused by polycystic kidney disease (PKD), a genetic disorder, along with other complications.
Randy spent many years living in Clarkston, Utah. A lover of sports, he played varsity football and basketball at Sky View High School. He was also a member of the track team and marching band.
Randy attended Utah State University on a four-year ROTC scholarship. In 1985, he graduated with a degree in Chemistry and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. He served for five years, primarily in Germany and Texas. Following the disbanding of his unit in Germany, he was honorably discharged with the rank of Captain.
After his military service, Randy put his degree to good use, working for 26 years as a chemist at TTM in Logan, Utah. Possessing a brilliant mind, he was a valued resource to his siblings, especially when it came to upper-level math and science. Randy enjoyed playing board and card games, as well as computer games, and had a special talent for solving brain teasers and logic puzzles.
