Randall "Randy" Lynn Gracy, 62 of Madisonville, TN, passed away after battling cancer on November 4, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. He is survived by his adoring wife, Kristin Gracy; sister, Starla Smith (Jeff, husband) and their children, Jason and Lindsey; children, Steven Gracy, Laura Gracy, Sarah Eiseman, and three grandchildren; and uncle, Thomas Gracy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene Gracy, William "Bill" Kemper, and Maxine Kemper, as well as his twin children, Adam and Austin Gracy.
Randy lived large-everything he did was over the top. He loved his wife, sister, children, family, and friends deeply and passionately. He loved cooking for everyone, including for his church, large groups, and he always made more than enough food for everyone. Randy loved his dog Gracie, horses, and cats. In 2024, Randy and Kristin found their church home at Westside Baptist Church in Madisonville. Randy felt God was leading him to preach, and he was blessed to be able to fulfill that calling. The congregation welcomed Randy and Kristin into their fold, and the love they have experienced is immeasurable.
In 2006, Randy became an honorary member of the Blue Knights Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club. Randy's love for the Blue Knights' brotherhood and camaraderie ran deep, and he made so many cherished friendships. In 2012, he became the first publisher of the Sword & Shield Magazine for the Blue Knights. Publishing the Magazine was a tremendous honor, and it was a job he loved. Randy graduated from Shaw High School, Columbus, GA, in 1981 and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. Randy was the VP of Operations of Southern Biker Magazine; Media Consultant at the Knoxville News-Sentinel and Editor of Handlebars Motorcycle Magazine, a subsidiary of the Knoxville News-Sentinel; and marketing and sales with several newspapers and magazines.
A Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Monroe County Rescue Squad in Madisonville TN. There will be a meal served by Westside Baptist Church for everyone after the celebration.
