Randall "Randy" Hessinger

Randall "Randy" Hessinger, age 54, of Summit Township, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 22, 2024. Born in Erie on June 3,1970, he was the son of Cheryl (Major) Hessinger and the late Richard P. Hessinger.
Randy received his associate degree from Penn State Behrend, where he played baseball. He was the proud owner of Asset Protection Ltd, Insurance Brokerage. He was a classic car buff, a lifelong Cleveland "Clowns" fan (as he would joke) and enjoyed NASCAR and Daytona International Speedway events. He loved rocking to all varieties of music. You couldn't keep Randy off of a beach or away from another new project.
Randy cherished his many, many friends. In fact, his friends weren't just friends, they became family. All were welcome at his home, nicknamed Randyland. Randy had an affinity towards dogs, especially his late dog Buddy and his beloved Randyland guardians Tank and Porter.
Besides his mother, Cheryl, he is survived by a brother, and two sisters, Richard S.(Stephanie) Hessinger, Tammy Sebring, and Alicia (David) Dias; his life partner, Tanya Kondzielski, her children, Daniel DeFelippis, Olivia (Ken) Seymour, Grace, Jonah, and Piper DeFelippis, Sydney Beale, and 4 grandchildren; niece and nephews, Courtney and Brock Sebring, Everett and Carson Hessinger; uncles, Frederick (Donna) and Robert Hessinger; aunt, Marianne Hessinger; cousins who were more like siblings, Kurt (Terry), Ken and Kyle Hessinger, and Kristen (Jonathan) Unroe, and many other extended family members from both sides.
Friends are invited to call at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 W. 38th Street at Greengarden Blvd., on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m., and Friday from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. and may attend a funeral service on Saturday at Luther Memorial Church at 10 a.m., followed by burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
