My deepest sympathy to the Kardoes family. When I think back and talk about our days at PC, I always have to tell a "Randy" story. I was deeply sadden to hear of his passing. He was always a great friend and person. Even though we lost touch over the years since college, whenever we would see each other it was like we were back in Doyle Hall again. Randy had that way about him. I will miss him. Please let me know if i can do anything for the family.

Kardoes Family, I am so sorry for your loss. All I could think of were the kids when I heard the news. Randy was such a sweet guy, I only knew him because he was friends with my parents but every time he saw me, my husband and our kids he would stop and ask how we were. Randy was my best friend. He continually challenged me to stay true to my spirituality. Even in his absence, he invites me to remember the qualities that he appreciated in our relationship. He rewards me for those efforts from the heavens above with a gift. The gift of sight. I can recognize those humbled by God's presence and those that live His word. Thank you. I would say that it's the best present you have ever given me, but you did better (several times!). I will save the ribbons that we tied and the memories only we two share, forever.

Although I had not seen him in many years, I often think back to the great times we spent growing up as kids. I will never forget the wonderful times spent with your family around the pool, breakfast table and basketball court. Words cannot express the pain and suffering each of you are going through. To lose a Son, Brother and Father in such a tragic way is beyond understanding.
