Randall Matlock was born on January 16, 1962, in Hardin County, Tennessee, the son of Opal B. Wright Matlock and the late James Merle Matlock.
On October 4, 2005, he was united in marriage to Sherry Edwards Matlock, who preceded her husband in death on March 2, 2015.
Randall attended the Stantonville Church of Christ in Stantonville, Tennessee. In his spare time, he enjoyed going fishing, camping, playing cards, and playing horse shoes with his friends.
Randall departed this life on August 2, 2024, in Waynesboro, Tennessee, at the age of 62 years, 6 months, and 17 days.
He is survived by his mother, Opal B. Matlock; stepdaughter, Kaci Lambert; brother, Dusty Matlock (Emily); nieces, Christa Wilson and Anna Matlock; nephew, James Matlock; and great nephews, Caleb and Corbin Reed.
In addition to his father, Randall was preceded in death by his sister, Lydia Carol Wilson.
