Mr. Parker was born in Chattanooga, TN to the late Claude Arlington Parker, Sr. and Mary Kathryne Evans Parker. He was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mattie Evans Walker and Pat Evans; his paternal grandparents, Mae McAllister Parker and John Parker and two aunts, Pauline Beardon (Claude) and Lila McCormick (Kathryne)
Randy was an Army veteran where he was a machine gunner and paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne. He owned and operated Fleet Wash Pressure Cleaning for over 35 years. He loved traveling abroad, classic cars, his boxer dogs, and being on his Harley. He formed a deep and special bond with his step-son, Dustin. Randy was a good man and anyone who knew him loved him and he loved his family dearly.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Kathy Brooks Parker; two children, Randall Heath Parker and Leslie Michelle Morrison; his beloved step-son, Dustin Orr (Traci); two brothers, Claude Arlington Parker, II (Charlotte) and Stephen Terry Parker; two nephews, Allen Parker and Chad Parker; a niece, Stephanie Parker; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
The family will have a celebration of life service at a later date.
Groce Funeral Home's Lake Julian team is assisting the family.
