Randall Dwain Slack, 66, of Cleveland, passed away Monday, June 16, 2025, at a local medical facility.

He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He worked at Elder's Ace Hardware for nearly 35 years, many of which he served as the store's General Manager. He was a long-time member of the Church of God.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul H. and Pearl Callaway Slack and his two brothers, Dale and Steve Slack.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Slack; sister, Sherry Sears; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Slack and Judy Slack; nephew, Darrell Slack (Bridgette); niece Robin Campbell (Gene); a special niece, Dana Sears and his great-nieces, Morgan Fox (Matthew) and Hallie Slack.

He is also survived by stepson, Jason Lett (Amy); stepdaughter Amanda Bates (Will) and 2 grandsons, Logan Bates and Gavyn Lett.

His family would like to extend their extreme gratitude to Elder's Ace Hardware for treating Randall so well throughout his nearly 35 years with Ace. To Tom Glenn, Steve Kelly, Ruth Townsend, Dewey Esquinance, Trina Runyan and all his Ace Hardware family - Thank you for making his time at Ace so special.

The family will receive friends at the Companion Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, June 23rd from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the original chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown NW in Cleveland, TN with family graveside service on Tuesday, June 24th at 11:00 a.m. at the Veteran's Cemetery at Fort Hill.
