Randall Wayne Wright, age 92, of Middlesboro, KY, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, September 7, 2025. He was born on February 21, 1933, in Insull, KY, to the late Jeptha and Jenny Cox Wright.
Randall was a retired Seargent, First Class of the US Army where he served during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. His return to civilian life included a long career with Middlesboro ARH Hospital, from which he retired a second time. Randall was a member of Southside Baptist Church. He was also a longtime member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, in Middlesboro, KY.
In addition to his parents, Randall was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Wright; four brothers; and four sisters.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Jeffrey Wright and brother, Damon Wright, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
The family of Randall Wright will receive friends on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel, Middlesboro, KY. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend John Gibbons and Reverend Jeremy Glenn presiding.
At the conclusion of the funeral service, family and friends will travel in procession to the Gazebo in Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro, KY, where graveside services with full military honors will be held.
