Randel "Randy" Goodman, 66, went to be with our Lord at 11:56 am on February 24, 2026 at Lutheran Hospital.
He was born in Leadville, Colorado on December 29th, 1959 to Willie O Goodman and Amenda Kay (Wolfe) Goodman – Winningham. His parents precede him in death. On May 2nd,1981, he married the love of his life, Lori R (Flinn) Goodman who survives.
His career started at Hartson Kennedy in 1979, in Marion for 15+ years. Then he made a career change to a Production Manager for Pierce Governor Upland. Then he was offered a Plant Manager position at Drexel Interiors in Indianapolis which brought him back into the countertop business, which lead him to open his own business
Dynamic Designs Custom Countertops in 2010 located in Marion.
Randy was nicknamed Dr. Doolittle for his love of all animals, especially his dog Cash, his rescue dog Ava, and all the cats he's taken in over the years. He spent as much time as he could around his pool with his family and friends dancing around to his favorite music. He always loved traveling and going to the beach any chance he could.
He is survived by his wife Lori; daughters Kristin (beloved son-in-law Jeremy) Pfeffer; Kayle Greenwood and fiancé Greg Bramel. He has 5 beautiful Granddaughters which he referred to as his Girly Girls, Zoie; Linlee; Leyna; Lorily and Grace. His sister Debby Calvin; sister-in-law Joann Goodman; stepbothers Berry (Brenda) Winningham; Barney Winningham.
He also cherished all his cousins; nieces; nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceeded in death by his parents; stepfather Thomas Winningham; brother James Goodman; sister Teresa Hammons; brother-in-law William Calvin.
Arrangements for Randy have been entrusted to College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 4601 S. Western Ave., Marion, IN 46953.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the funeral home, with a memorial service beginning at 4:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Grant County Humane Society, 505 S. Miller Ave., Marion, IN 46953.
