Randell Eugene Potts

Randell Eugene Potts, age 82, of Demotte Indiana, devoted husband and father, entered his heavenly home on Sunday, February 1, 2026.

He is survived by his loving wife Madelynn McKee Potts; children, Richard Potts, Terry Potts, Renee (Rick) Kouder, Nancy (Keith) Bolen, Carl (Samantha) Bilinski, Christina Carrington, Elisabeth (Aaron) Hershman; grandchildren, Andrew, Wesley, Devin, Brittany, TJ, Randi, Alexander, Harley Quinn, Alivia, Emmett, Douglas, Kalina, Tatum, Kendall; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren; his brothers, Jeffrey (Maryann) Potts, Michael (Beverly) Potts, Edwin (Sue) Potts, and his Sister, Starla Potts . and dear friends Floyd, Jerry and Don. Randy was preceded in death by his parents; son, Douglas Bilinski; sister, Kathleen (Alonso) Hall; brothers Russell (MaryJo) Potts, and Arthur Potts; and sister-in-law, Jean Potts.

Friends may greet the family on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 10:00 am until 12:30 pm at BURDAN FUNERAL HOME, 12901 Wicker Ave., Cedar Lake, IN 46303. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 12:30 pm at BURDAN FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, Pastor Josh Landers, officiating. Interment will follow immediately at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crown Point, IN.

Randy "Pops" was born on February 12, 1943, in Hammond Indiana to Maxwell Potts and Betty Mabius Sexton. He was the owner of Reliable Dental Center, Served in the US Army and 50-year member of the Masons. Randy loved NASCAR and the Chicago Bears, but his true joy came from his family and friends.
