Randolph E. Andrew
April 17, 1974 – October 4, 2024
We are heartbroken to share that Randolph E. Andrew passed away on October 4, 2024, at the age of 50. Born in St. George's, Grenada, on April 17, 1974, Randolph came to America at 13, but he always carried Grenada in his heart, and anyone who knew him would hear stories from back home.
Randolph was the life of the party-always quick with a joke and never afraid to make people laugh, no matter the situation. He loved his music, and everyone knew him as DJ Poison, bringing the vibe and getting people dancing wherever he went. But when he wasn't DJing, you could find him by the grill. He made some of the best BBQ around-he made the best turkey burgers!
He served in the Army and was proud of his time there, earning an honorable discharge. But Randolph wasn't just about service to his country-he was a man of faith too. He got baptized in 2017 and became very active at church, always helping out and staying involved in the community.
Family meant everything to Randolph. He leaves behind his three children-Britney, Randolph Jr., and Roderick-and his grandson, AJ, who meant the world to him. His parents, Gabriel Sr. and Hilaria, his brothers, Alister and Gabriel Jr., and his two nieces, Kiana and Olivia, and his aunts, uncles, and cousins, who will miss him dearly.
We'll gather to celebrate Randolph's life on October 28, 2024, at Frank J. Barone Funeral Home. His laughter, his music, his BBQ, and the love he gave will live on in all of us.
