Randolph Byrd Obituary
Randy lived almost his entire life in Illinois. He was a fan of the Chicago Bears and college basketball teams, always scheduling his Sunday afternoons to watch games.
Randy worked in quality assurance. One of his former supervisors said he was adept at solving problems in unique ways.
Randy wrote elegant, free-style poetry. His poems were often the featured poem on the Poetry Soup website, where his poems can still be found.
Visiting his friends and family was important to him. He would happily drive long distances from Illinois to see them in Georgia, Florida, Wisconsin and Arizona.
