Mr. Randolph Cole (Randy), 76 of Clarksville, VA entered eternal rest on Monday, March 16, 2026.
Randolph was born on November 26, 1949, in Mecklenburg County, Virginia, to the late Samuel Bernard Cole and Inez Rebecca Walker Baptist Cole. Randolph received his education in the Mecklenburg County Public School System and graduated from West End High School in 1968. He remained proud of his alma mater and was an active member of the Mecklenburg County Chapter of the West End High School Alumni Association. Randolph was employed by the Arlington County Water System, where he worked faithfully and diligently until his retirement. Following retirement, Randolph returned home to Clarksville, VA to care for and support his beloved parents during their later years. Randy was a devoted and active member of St. John Baptist Church. He faithfully served as the church’s trusted #1 Security Man, was an active member of the Hospitality Committee, and lifted his voice in praise as a member of the Male Chorus. Those who knew Randolph also knew of his unwavering loyalty to his favorite football team. He was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan, supporting his team faithfully through every season—win or lose.
Randolph was preceded in death by his loving parents, Samuel Bernard Cole and Inez Rebecca Walker Baptist Cole, and one sister, Stella Louise Cole Hall.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving siblings: Gilbert Baptist (Denise) of Irvington, NJ; Floyd Baptist (Mozell) of Clarksville, VA; Clyde Baptist of Maplewood, NJ; Christine Cole White of Fort Washington, MD; Earnestine Cole Gates of Temple Hills, MD; and Belinda Cole Miller of Fort Washington, MD. He also leaves a host of devoted nieces and nephews, many relatives, his god children: Deonna Glass and Addison Daniel, close friends, neighbors, and all who were blessed to know and love him.
Funeral service for Mr. Randolph Cole will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Saint John Baptist Church, Buffalo Junction, VA with Rev. DeMario Covington delivering the eulogy. Interment will be private. Public viewing for family and friends will begin on Saturday from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM at the church.
