Randolph P Rawlins, 69, passed away Wed September 17, 2025, at Allied Services Meade Street Residence in Wilkes barre.
Born in Wilkes Barre on Nov 10, 1955, he was a son of the late Randolph Rawlins Sr and Marian (Foster) Rawlins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a huge influence in his life, his grandfather Parran (Pop) Foster. He was a graduate of GAR High School, Wilkes-Barre, and had further education at LCCC, obtaining an associates degree in applied science.
Ultimately, his career path took him to a thirty-year career at Luzerne County Children and Youth, retiring in 2023.Randy will most be remembered for his love of family, including friends and coworkers he thought of as family. He had a love of cooking; he could turn a boiled hotdog into a delicacy. Randy also enjoyed music and making playlist for days. He also had a quick wit and was often sarcastic with his humor.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a huge influence in his life, his grandfather Parran (Pop) Foster.
He is survived by his two sons, Randolph Rawlins II and Nathan Rawlins.
A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
We also would like to thank the staff at Allied Hospice and Allied Services Meade Street Residence for their care in the last few months of his life.
