Randy Blumenstock Obituary

Published by Legacy from Sep. 30 to Oct. 1, 2025.
Randy Blumenstock, age 75, of Destin, FL, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2025, after a courageous battle with illness. Born in Elmira, NY, Randy lived a life defined by love, generosity, and an unwavering commitment to his family and friends.

Randy proudly served in the United States Army and was a fourth-degree Knight of Columbus. After a long career as both a general contractor and a training supervisor at UPS, he retired in 2019 and moved from Jacksonville to Destin, FL, where he embraced retirement and the simple joys of life.

A humble man with a heart that knew no limits, Randy never met a stranger. He loved reading, cheering on the Florida Gators, soaking up the sun at the beach, and tending to his yard-but above all, his greatest joy came from spending time with his family. He could often be found sharing a laugh, tossing a baseball, or quietly lending a helping hand. Randy lived by his favorite saying: "The only thing you can control in life is the attitude you choose to have."

Randy's kindness, warmth, and sense of humor touched everyone he met. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a life well-lived, and he will be forever remembered in the hearts of all who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Teresa Blumenstock; daughter, Adrienne (Jason) of Destin, FL; sons, Kyle (Ivone) and Keith (Jordan) of Charlotte, NC; his cherished grandchildren, Ava, Dylan, Lena, Lucas, Leo, Henry, and Theo; He is also survived by his brothers, James (LuAnne) of Ocean City, NJ, and Danny (Jadee) of Melbourne, FL, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Mildred Blumenstock, and brother, Timothy Blumenstock.

A funeral Mass will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 307 Beach Drive, Destin, FL, 32541 followed by a reception in the fellowship hall. Burial will take place at Barrancas National Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Randy's favorite charity, Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
