Randy was born on March 22, 1962 in Vernon, AL to the late Major "Eugene" Carter and the late Mabeline Rhudy Carter. He was a 1980 graduate of Sulligent High School. Randy previously worked for Carter Logging. He always enjoyed being outdoors, especially fishing and camping. Randy also liked riding horses and shoeing them. His family meant everything to him and the time he spent with them was what he cherished the most. He had a humble heart and gentle spirit that will always be fondly remembered by all who loved and knew him.

Grandchildren: Sam Carter, Kellen Powell,
Noah Luna and Aria Luna
