Randy Casey Obituary

Published by Legacy from Jan. 28 to Jan. 29, 2026.
Randy A. Casey, 66, of Somersworth, passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 20, 2026, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on June 30, 1959, in Lynn, Massachusetts, Randy was the second son of his loving mother, Nettie (Townsend) Casey. Following his graduation from high school, Randy proudly served his country in the United States Navy for over 20 years. During his distinguished military career, he attained the rank of Petty Officer First Class and served as a Hull Technician. In addition to his primary duties, Randy taught firefighting a role he carried out with dedication and pride.

After retiring from the Navy, Randy continued his career at the Seabrook Nuclear Power Plant, where he worked as a Valve Technician for 15 years. He also freelanced his expertise to other power plants before his time in Seabrook.

When not working, Randy cherished time spent with his family above all else. He was a skilled woodworker and took great pride in his craftsmanship. In his younger years, he was a die-hard Boston Red Sox and Patriots fan and maintained a lifelong passion for history, particularly World War II.

He was predeceased by his mother, Nettie Casey.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Carolyn; his sons, Paul Casey and Cory Casey; his niece, Meghan Casey; his great-niece, Nettie Casey; and several other nieces and nephews.

Tasker Funeral Home has been entrusted with Randy's cremation. He will be scattered at sea by the United States Navy at a later date.
