Mr. Randy Ray Cook, age 60, husband of Cynthia Mathers Cook of 114 Arthur St., Union, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, January 29, 2026.
Mr. Cook was born in Punta Gorda, FL, April 12, 1965, a son of the late Billy Joe Cook, Sr. and Nina Pearl Spillers Cook. Randy retired from Holcombe Cemeteries and Holcombe Funeral Home after many years of service. He was a member of Full Gospel Tabernacle of God Church.
Surviving addition to his wife are a daughter, Kimberly Diane Smith and husband Aaron of Spartanburg; two step sons, Justin Hensley of Florida, and Tommy Hensley and wife Jeana of Louisianna; three brothers, Ricky Cook and wife Sheila of Buffalo, Tim Cook and friend Sherri Puckett and Ronnie Cook and wife Teresa all of Union, and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sisters, Cynthia Ireland and Martha Dougherty and a brother, Billy Cook.
A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, February 8, 2026 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by his brothers, Rev. Ricky Cook and Rev. Ronnie Cook. Visitation will be held from 2:00 until 3:00 PM at the chapel prior to the services.
Memorials may be made to Full Gospel Tabernacle of God Church, 2860 Buffalo-West Springs Hwy., Buffalo, SC 29321.
The family will be at the home of his brother, Ronnie and Teresa Cook, 102 Culbreath Heights, Union.
