Randy L. “Pops” Enck, 77, of Manheim died peacefully at home on Thursday, March 6, 2025. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Leon Z. and Betty J. Fetter Enck. He was the loving husband of Peg Ginder Enck and they would have observed their 59th wedding anniversary this September. For 43 years, Randy was operations manager for Stief Concrete, Inc., New Holland. In his later years, Randy worked for the Buch Family of Funeral Homes. He proudly served seven years as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army Reserves. Randy was a lifetime member of the Elstonville Sportsman’s Association and enjoyed shooting at the range. His interests included music, hunting, fishing and going to his cabin in Perry County. Handy Randy was always there to lend a hand to his family and friends. His passion in life was his beloved family and friends, he loved them all.
Surviving in addition to his wife Peg are two daughters, Jodie Enck companion of Ron Walker, Heather wife of Larry Fittery both of Manheim; eight grandchildren: Jordan, Adrienne, Austin, Brigette, Cody, Danielle, Gavin, Ellie; ten great grandchildren, siblings, Denny husband of Terri Enck, Kim wife of Eric Nelson, both of Manheim, Salli wife of Dave Zolin of Harrisburg and sister-in-law, Anna Mae Enck of Manheim. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jeff Enck.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Randy’s Celebration of Life Service at Salem United Methodist Church, 140 North Penn Street, Manheim on Friday, March 21, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Friends may visit with the family immediately following the service. Per Randy’s request, please dress casually. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may send contributions in Randy’s memory to the Manheim Food Pantry, c/o: Salem UMC, 140 North Penn Street, Manheim, PA 17545.
