Obituary published on Legacy.com by Robinson & Fuller White Hall Funeral Chapel on Dec. 13, 2025.
Randy "Pop Pop" Hamilton, age 57, of Rison, passed away on December 10, 2025, in Pine Bluff, surrounded by love and the legacy of a life well lived.
He was born November 19, 1968, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, son of Bobby J. Hamilton and Kattie Sue Martin Hamilton, who instilled in him the values of family, hard work, and loyalty-values that remained central to who he was throughout his life.
Randy was raised in
White Hall, Arkansas, where he attended school and formed lifelong friendships.
He married the love of his life, Vickie Robinson Hamilton, on November 5, 1999. Together they raised four kids and built a life centered around family. They loved spending time at the lake and in the deer woods, but nothing mattered more to them than being together. One of Randy's greatest joys was being "Pop Pop" or "Pops" to his eight grandkids, a role he loved with his whole heart.
Randy attended ITT Technical Institute, where he earned his degree. He began his career at Milam's Honda and Kawasaki Sports Center, gaining valuable experience before finding his long-term professional home with AT&T. Randy joined AT&T on February 29, 2008, and worked as an engineer for over 17 years. He was well respected for his dedication, reliability, skill, and strong work ethic.
Above all else, Randy was a family man. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and grandfather who cherished time spent with those he loved. An avid outdoorsman, Randy especially enjoyed deer hunting and the cherished traditions of deer camp with family-moments filled with laughter, storytelling, and lasting memories. One of his favorite traditions was time spent at the lake during the annual Hamilton family camping trip, a place that brought together family, joy, and togetherness.
He also had a lifelong love of baseball, beginning at just six years old. The game stayed close to his heart and reflected his competitive spirit, appreciation for teamwork, and love of tradition.
Randy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Orville and Mary Martin and Albert and Era Hamilton, as well as his infant sister, Beverly Kaye Hamilton.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Vickie Robinson Hamilton; his parents, Bobby and Sue Hamilton; his brother, Bobby Gene (Vickie) Hamilton; his sister, Anita Crockett; and children, Ashlie Hamilton Wafford, Arissa Hamilton Kirk, Samantha Hamilton, and Chris Johnson (Kacy).
Randy was a proud and loving "Pops" to Brayden Wafford, Drake Wafford, Randi, Raleigh, Braylon Kirk, Jake McClain, Kaly McClain, and Colbi Johnson-each of whom brought him immense joy.
He is also survived by his niece and nephews, Jennifer (Adam) Oldner, Brandon Donaldson, and Juston (Amber) Hamilton, along with a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and many dear friends. Randy held a special place in his heart for his close friends Brenda, Keith, and Teresa Allbright, who were truly like family to him.
Randy will be remembered as a loving family man, a loyal friend, and a steady presence to all who knew him. His kindness, strong work ethic, and devotion to family will continue to live on through the many lives he touched.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Robinson and Fuller White Hall Funeral Chapel with Mr. Lee Elkins officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Robinson and Fuller in White Hall.
