Randy K. Hensel

Sadly Randy K. Hensel, age 64 of Connellsville PA, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2024, at his home. He was a beloved husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, great grandfather, son and brother. Randy was born July 16th, 1959 in Connellsville Hospital. He was the 1st son of Homer and Shirley Hensel of Mill Run, PA. Randy was a graduate of Connellsville High School Class of 1977. He was employed by Leru Storage Inc, working for Heartland Homes. Randy proudly served in the USMC as a Staff Sergeant. We were blessed to have him return home from the Gulf War, Operation Desert Storm. Randy was a devout Christian and is now resting in the arms of our Lord after his battle with Stage 4, Pancreatic cancer. Randy is survived by his wife Laurie, his daughter Rachel (Hensel) King husband Brian King. His twin sons Chuck Hensel wife Sarah (Hamel), Frank Hensel wife Janille (Cartwright), and his stepdaughter Samantha (Sabat) Shultz husband Justin Shultz. Randy was proud to be the grandfather of Olivia, Genevieve, and Owen King, Gage, Andrea, Haundray, Ashley, Alexander, Dixon and Jesse Hensel, as well as Haileigh, Preston, and Remington Shultz. He was a great grandfather to Noah Melendez. Randy was also survived by brothers Rickie Hensel and partner Patti Hull, and Jerry Hensel and his wife Marsie (Welling), as well as sister Jodie (Hall) Hensel. Family and friends will be received from 2-8 P.M. Thursday in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville, Pa. Additional viewing will take place in the Calvary Assembly of God Church on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. the hour of services with Pastor Michael Cogley and Pastor Jason Lamer officiating.
