Randy Hernandez Obituary

Published by Legacy on Mar. 13, 2026.
A compassionate heart has ceased to beat; a courageous spirit has found its eternal rest. Randy Eli Hernandez, born on February 24, 1976, in Toppenish, WA, transitioned to glory on February 22, 2026. His life was a testament to his faith, a devoted Christian who found strength and solace in the words of the Holy Scripture. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13) was a verse that Randy lived by, demonstrating his faith through actions of love and kindness.

A native of Wapato, Washington, Randy was a generous man who loved his family fiercely. He took immense pleasure in the simple joys of life - long phone conversations with his brother, shooting guns, hunting, fishing, playing dice, and having a hearty meal with his loved ones. The outdoors held a special place in his heart, and he cherished moments spent camping and exploring the wilderness, often accompanied by his beloved dogs. Randy was a proud holder of a CDL License for truck driving, a testament to his resilience and determination. His loving nature extended to his nieces and nephews, whom he cared for as if they were his own children.

Randy leaves behind a legacy of love, embodied by his father, Ray Jr., and mother Norma; his brother Roy, sister-in-law LeiLani; his significant other, Alicia Ruiz; and his son, Ruben Ruiz. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces, including Gabe (Tori), Ray IV (Jessica), Rolando, Orlando (Anabel), Ron (Melinda), Roy Jr (Lorena), Rudy (Marisa), Ryan (Tania), Edgar, and his nieces Tasha (Merced) and Yoselin. His memory will be cherished by his sister-in-law, Marla (Ray III), and his brother Angel Oseguera. Randy was preceded in death by his brother Ray III, his nephew Roman, and his niece Tori.

As we remember Randy, we invite you to share your memories and photographs on his memorial page. Let us celebrate his life by sharing the joy he brought to our lives. Randy's life was a testament to how much his family meant to him. His life was a journey of courage, compassion, love, and generosity, and he will forever be remembered as such. Gone but never forgotten...Until we meet again.
