He was born on March 6, 1955, in Dickson, TN, to the late Cordell and Alice (Schmittou) Hill. Randy's journey through life was marked by his devotion to his family, his passion for learning, and his unwavering love for the great state of Tennessee.
Those left to cherish his memory are wife, Delishie Hill; children, Leslie (Robbie) Presley, Adrienne Hulan, Sarah Wilson, Jacob (Liz) Lockamy, and Kelly (Jim) Rivard; grandchildren, Sydney Presley, Austin Presley, Mackensie Presley; Gibson Lewis; Zander Lockamy, Zivia Lockamy, and Cooper Lockamy; and Isabell Rivard; sister, Keela Hill Waller; several nieces and nephews, and his fur baby, Ranger Dale, who were all dear to him. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Dreama Hill Groves.
Randy loved life, and most definitely his children and grandchildren. An alumnus with a Bachelor's degree, he had a career as a tax practitioner. His intellectual curiosity led him to explore many subjects, but he had a particular fondness for Theology, which he researched with great enthusiasm. Randy's love for life was evident in his many interests. He was very well versed in current affairs. A true Tennessean at heart, Randy's love for his home state was a cornerstone of his identity. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life. In the 1980's, he shared a band with his sister, Dreama and a group of friends, where he was a lead singer. He also loved Trivia as he would have weekly games. His life was a true adventure, and his faith in God was ever present!
Visitation will be Friday, November 21, 2025, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Dickson Funeral Home & Cremation Center; and will resume on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. until start of service at 11:00 A.M. at St. Patrick's Church in McEwen, TN. Interment will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
