Randy Joe Johnson, of Hayden, Alabama, passed away on November 1, 2025.
A proud graduate of Hayden High School, Class of 1977, Randy met the love of his life, Darlene, while in school. The two shared 47 wonderful years of marriage, building a life filled with love, laughter, and family. They were blessed with three children and eight grandchildren, all of whom Randy adored deeply.
Randy worked for 19 years at Hydra Service, Inc. in Warrior before enjoying his well-earned retirement. He could often be found at one of his favorite fishing spots, relaxing in an old porch rocking chair, or watching a good old Western movie.
If you ever asked Randy about his greatest accomplishment, he would tell you without hesitation-it was his family. His wife, children, and grandchildren were the center of his world, and he loved them with all his heart.
Randy was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Johnson; grandparents, Grover and Mary Helen Gurley Johnson and Elzadie Smith Handley; stepfather, James Howard Cicero; sister-in-law, Tammy Skinner Johnson; father-in-law, Dalton Ray Cox; mother-in-law, Doris Washburn Cox; nephew, Stephen Matthew Johnson; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Karan Darlene Johnson; his children, Nicholas Johnson (Katie), Andrew Johnson (Barbara), and Andrea Johnson Roberts (Keith); and his beloved grandchildren, Tyana Johnson, Cody Johnson, Joslyn Johnson, Mia Johnson, Seth Johnson, Aubree Roberts, Adalyn Roberts, and Anslee Roberts. He is also survived by his mother, Shirley Fay Cicero; brothers, Stephen W. Johnson and Clint Johnson (Julie); stepmother, Carol Johnson; stepbrother, Randall Cicero; sister-in-law, Lisa Dannet Pineda; and nieces, Amanda Johnson Snider (Mike) and Leslie Romine (Justin).

A memorial service will be held Saturday November 8, 2025, 5:30 p.m. at Keith & Andrea's home. Randy will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
