Randall K. Keene, 66, of High Springs FL, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 12, 2025. He passed peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at Haven Hospice E.T. York Care Center in Gainesville, FL. Randy was born Sunday, February 16, 1958, in Gainesville, FL. He was the only child of Alvin and Estelle Keene. Randy attended Eastside High School and played the Trombone in The Eastside Rams Marching Band. Randy met his wife, Carolyn King, a few years after high school and they were married February 23, 1980. They were blessed with one beautiful daughter, Jessica, and loved attending her dance recitals and dance theatre performances. Randy worked for many years in the automotive paint and supply industry and most recently at Ag-Pro in Gainesville, FL. People always said that he was one of the nicest guys you would ever meet. He touched many lives with his kindness. To know him was to love him. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of High Springs where he served for many years teaching RAs and Sunday School, serving as a Deacon, and being involved with Pray then Play Sports teaching Taekwondo. He was a black belt and loved teaching the children. Randy was preceded in death by his parents Alvin and Estelle Keene. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Carolyn Keene of High Springs, Florida and his daughter Jessica Keene of Los Angeles, California. The viewing is Wednesday, January 15, 2025 from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm at Evans-Carter Funeral Home in High Springs, FL The Funeral Service will be Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church of High Springs, FL In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Haven Hospice Foundation.
