Randy James Laughman, 56, of Hanover, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 3, 2023 at his home.
Born August 16, 1966 in Hanover, he was the son of Dawn M. (Gladfelter) Laughman, Hanover and the late Henry N. Laughman.
Randy was a crew leader at Garrety Glass, Dallastown and enjoyed collecting antiques and attending auctions. He enjoyed spending time with his family and will be fondly remembered for his kindness and willingness to help others.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sons, Ryan M. Laughman, Hanover and Randall J. Laughman, Jr. and companion, Tammy Brown, York; brother and sisters, Anthony Laughman, Sr. and wife Kimberly, Hanover, Linda Laughman, Hanover, Dawn Little and husband Les, Hanover, Melissa Cromer and husband Chris, New Oxford and Wanda Smith and husband Ken, Hanover; grandchildren, Skyler, Marshall and Diamond Laughman; sister-in-law, Lori Laughman and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Gerald and Scott Laughman.
A service to celebrate the life of Randy J. Laughman will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at 11 AM at the Wetzel Funeral Home and Crematory, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover with Pastor Ron Parr officiating. The family will receive friends and share memories on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 from 6 to 8 PM and again on Wednesday from 10 AM until the start of the service both at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hanover. Serving as pallbearers will be Ryan Laughman, Randall Laughman, Jr., Tony Laughman, Jr., Brandon Laughman, Les Little, Ken Smith, Chad Myers and Gerald Heston. Josh Kitzmiller will serve as honorary pallbearer.
