Gladys M. Sentz

Gladys Marie (Miller) Sentz, 79, of Hanover, entered God's eternal care on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at UPMC Hanover Hospital. She was the wife of Martin L. "Marty" Sentz for 15 years until his death May 17, 2011. She was born February 2, 1946, in Heidelberg Township, daughter of the late Niles A. and Jeanette E. (Resh) Miller.

She worked for Snyder's of Hanover, and later at R.H. Sheppard for many years until her retirement.

In her free time, Gladys enjoyed reading, crocheting, and spending time with her family. She was also active at church with the Ladies Bible Study group. Gladys was a member of Calvary Bible Church in Hanover.

Surviving, are three children, Laura M. Smith and husband Randy of Spring Grove, Lila J. Bossom and husband John of Hanover, and James P. Wildasin of Hanover, two grandchildren, Ben Smith and Niles DeVivo, and two sisters, Dora Stager and Shirley Stiffler, both of Spring Grove. Gladys was preceded in death by her grandson, John R. Smith, and three siblings, Betty Sterner, Tim Miller, and Eugene Miller.

A funeral service to celebrate and remember Gladys' life will be held at 11 AM, Friday, December 12, 2025, at Calvary Bible Church, 603 Wilson Ave, Hanover, PA 17331, with Pastor Dominic Aquilino officiating. Viewings and time to share memories with the family will be held 6 to 8 PM, Thursday, December 11, 2025 at Wetzel Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 549 Carlisle Street, Hanover PA 17331, and from 10 AM until the time of service on Friday, December 12, 2025, at the church. Burial will be in Marburg Memorial Gardens following the service.
