Randy Lenning
Randy Lenning, age 72, of Rex, Georgia, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2025, following a brief stay in the hospital and in hospice care.
Born in Atlanta on September 24, 1952, Randy grew up in Forest Park before making his home in Rex. He cherished time spent with his family and found joy in fishing, relaxing at the beach, and exploring the North Georgia mountains.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Carnie Mae Lenning; his daughter, Jennifer Lenning; his son, Robert Lenning; and his brother, David Lenning. He is survived by his devoted wife, Ginny Lenning; his daughter and son-in-law, Valerie and Allan Sherman; as well as several nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
Randy will be remembered for his kind heart, his love for the outdoors, and the special moments he shared with his family.
Funeral Service will be held at Thomas Scroggs Funeral Directors at 11:00 AM on Thursday. There will be a visitation an hour prior. Interment will take place at Forest Hill Memorial Park following the service.
