Randy Michael McHenry

Randy Michael McHenry, 69, of Spartanburg, South Carolina went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 25, 2026.

Randy was born In Spartanburg, South Carolina. He was the son of the late George and Margaret Ruth Knox Worthy.

He was also preceded in death by his two brothers: Jackie Allen and Robert Leslie McHenry; and a sister Cathy Bird.

Randy was a man that was deeply rooted into his faith. He was a former deacon at Grace Baptist Church and a current active member of Fairview Baptist Church. He loved to joke around and spend time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by everyone who has had the pleasure of knowing him.

Left to cherish his many memories are his two sons: Matthew “Matt” McHenry and Jonathan McHenry (Maci); nephew: Jeffery McHenry; and grandchildren who Randy loved dearly: Blake McHenry and Maddie Kate McHenry.

The family will receive friends between 12:00 AM and 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Fairview Baptist Church, 1551 Bryant Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303. The funeral to honor Randy’s life will follow the visitation and will start at 1:00 PM with Pastor Ty Childers officiating. The burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

Randy’s memories will continue to live in the hearts of his family and friends.
