Randy Eugene Messbarger, age 67, of Cassville, Missouri passed away Sunday, August 20, 2023 at Roaring River Health and Rehab in Cassville, Missouri surrounded by his family.
He was born May 29, 1956 in Maryville, Missouri the son of Maurice and Velma (Cassel) Messbarger, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were one daughter, Tabatha Messbarger and one brother, Butch Messbarger.
Surviving are two sons, Travis Messbarger and his wife Kia of Cato, Missouri and Trevor Messbarger and his wife Angel of Shell Knob, Missouri; one daughter, Terra Stockton and her husband Brian of Cato, Missouri; one brother, Curtis Messbarger and his wife Tonia of Fairfax, Missouri; one sister, Loyalea Marriott and her husband Russell of Coin, Iowa; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Randy grew up and attended school in Maryville, Missouri. After school he joined the United States Army. He was employed by Hutchens Construction Company in Cassville, Missouri as a mechanic for several years. Randy enjoyed fishing, hunting, being outdoors, playing cards, pool, and bowling but most of all he loved spending time with his family.
Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, August 25, 2023 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Doug Fare and Brother Lonnie Stockton will conduct the services. Burial will be at Clio Cemetery in Jenkins, Missouri.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:00 P.M. Thursday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
Contributions may be made to Clio Cemetery in memory of Randy.
