Randy E. Newsom

Funeral service for Mr. Randy E. Newsom, Sr. 74 of Crowville, LA will be 10 AM Monday, January 12, 2026, at Dennard Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Holland and Rev. Jonathan Holland officiating, Interment to follow in Harris Cemetery Crowville, LA, visitation will be 5-7 PM Sunday, January 11, 2026 at the funeral home, all under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro.

Mr. Randy a member of Jesus Name Apostolic Church, was a jack of all trades and could pretty much do anything. From welding, diesel mechanic, oil field, was an electrician at the Sapa Aluminum plant, and a turbine specialist and mill wright. He was born in Winnsboro, LA to the union of the late James Emmitt Newsom and the late Ruby Irene Matthews Newsom and passed away January 9, 2026, in Monroe, LA.

Mr. Randy was preceded in death by his parents, a son Jeffrey Lavelle Newsom, two brothers Kenneth Newsom and Lynn Newsom, and a sister Martha Newsom Rogan.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 56 years Tommie Nell Biggs Newsom of Crowville, LA; three sons, Gene Newsom and his wife Ann of Crowville, LA, Hugh Newsom of Crowville, LA, and Warren Newsom and his wife Vicki of Swampers, LA; two sister Dorothy Curry of Swartz, LA and Edna Dunn of Oak Grove, LA; brother Danny Newsom of Newnan, GA; eleven grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces nephews and friends. And his fur baby Rayna

Pallbearers will be Gene Newsom, Hugh Newsom, Warren Newsom, Travis Newsom, Blake Smith, and Ryan Newsom.

Honorary pallbearers are Jason Biggs, Ronnie Smith, David Nelson, John Jacobs, Rickey Scott, Elbert Rayborn, Kevin Rutledge, Ronnie Riske, Sean Killian, Clint Dunn, and Ramage Parker.
