Obituary for Randy Eugene Paigen
July 26, 1954 – October 13, 2025
Randy Eugene Paigen, 71, passed away on October 13, 2025, in Lake Havasu, Arizona. He was born on July 26, 1954, in Forrest City, Arkansas, and spent his childhood years growing up in Southern California.
Randy lived most of his adult life in Yelm, Washington, before eventually settling in his favorite place-Lake Havasu, Arizona-where he embraced life to the fullest. He found joy in the simple pleasures of fishing, golfing several times a week with his men's golf club, and working on his beloved classic car collection.
Professionally, Randy was a hardworking and dedicated man. He began his career owning and operating a painting company and later transitioned into general contracting, building a successful business as R.E. Paigen General Contractor. His commitment to quality craftsmanship and integrity earned him the respect of many throughout his career.
Randy is survived by his children, Jamie (Pam), Rachel (Michael), and their brother Josh; his grandchildren, who lovingly referred to him as "Papa" - Kayden, Landon, Sophia, Taylor, and Savannah; and his brothers, Ron and Ricky. He also leaves behind many close friends and loved ones who became like family, each of whom touched his life in meaningful ways. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Paigen and Amy Chastain.
Anyone who knew Randy will smile remembering that he always did life the "Randy way." He worked harder than most, chased every goal with unstoppable determination, and his legendary stubborn streak was both his trademark and his charm. You could count on him to stand his ground-but just as surely, he'd be the first to lend a hand, fix what was broken, or show up when someone needed help. Randy lived big, loved deeply, and left everyone with stories that will bring laughter for years to come.
Details regarding a celebration of Randy's life will be shared by his family at a later date, with gatherings planned in both Yelm, Washington, and Lake Havasu, Arizona, to honor the places and people he loved most.
