RANDY SMITH Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Grant Funeral Services - Estill Springs on Jan. 21, 2026.
RANDY EARL SMITH, age 61, of Winchester, Tenn., departed this life at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tenn., following an extended illness. Mr. Smith was born in Winchester, Tenn., on November 2, 1964, to the late John N. Smith, Sr. and Mary Ellen McAmis Smith. He was the 12th child of his family. Mr. Smith did construction work most of his life and could do about anything he attempted. When he was younger, he enjoyed riding motorcycles and 4-wheelers. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing but most of all he was known by his family as a master of the grill. He loved cooking for big family gatherings. He was known to help anyone that needed a hand. Even though he had no children of his own he considered all of his nieces and nephews his own. He will be greatly missed and remembered as a "loving soul".

In addition to his parents, Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his sisters; Melissa White, Margaret Neal, Becky Suhr, Pamela Smith and a brother, Melvin Smith.

He is survived by his brothers; John N. Smith, Jr. and wife, Jenny of Belvidere, Thomas Smith and wife, Kathy of Flintville, Charles Smith of Belvidere. Sisters; Sarah Limbaugh and Ella Robinson both of Winchester and Kathy Harris of Manchester. A special Friend and caregiver, Sheila Varadi. Numerous Nieces and Nephews and great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Haven House of TN, at havenhousetn.org.

A private Memorial Graveside Services will be held at a later date.
