Randy Turner

Randell William Turner, 69, of Hobson passed away after a short illness on January 29, 2026 at the Peace Hospice House. Randy was born on November 19, 1956, in Lewistown to parents, James and Joyce (Nelson) Turner. He was the second of three children and grew up on Green Valley Angus Ranch outside of Hobson. He received his education in Hobson.

Randy held a variety of jobs over his lifetime, including working on the ranch. In retirement, he enjoyed the companionship of his dogs, Charlie and Angel, and spent his time caring for plants, working on projects around his home, and watching old westerns on television. Randy always looked forward to engaging in conversation with others at the senior center.

Randy is survived by Bruce Turner of Hobson, Pam (Walter) Turner of Athens, Georgia, John (Becky) Christensen of Billings, and Devin Collins of River Falls, Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his parents and several relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, 2:00 p.m. at Philbrook Cemetery. There will be a reception afterwards at the Judith River Senior Center in Hobson.
