I remember a time when Randy had just got done with a fight on the bus with Todd Burton. This was in high school. Randy acquitted himself well. I will always remember what he told me afterwards. "I am a lover not a fighter." This was how I knew Randy growing up. Him and I talked a lot in youth group. He always treated me with kindness, even though he was an upper classman. I considered him a friend.
After high school our lives grew apart. But, I will always remember, the big teddy bear that was Randy.
I look forward to sharing stories with you in heaven.
see you then.
