Randy E. Welch

Randy E. Welch, 35, of Gardner, died peacefully Monday, February 21, 2022, in Care Dimensions Hospice House, Lincoln, with his family by his side.
Born in Leominster on June 26, 1986, he was the son of Karen A. (Dube) Welch of Gardner and the late Chester E. Welch. He graduated from Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School, Fitchburg, with the Class of 2004. At the time of his death, Randy was employed in the Maintenance Department at Olde English Village of Gardner.
Randy was an avid fan of hockey and NASCAR. He loved to go fishing-even on the days he did not catch anything, as well as taking trips to Canada. Randy's greatest joy came when he was with his family, especially his two children, always treasuring the time spent together.
Besides his mother, Randy is survived by his children Collin and Adrianna; his sister Jackie Paquette and her husband Matt of Spencer, MA, maternal grandmother Dorina Boucher of Gardner, paternal grandmother Joyce Welch of Nova Scotia, Canada, uncle and aunts; Paul and his wife Maria of Gardner, Jim Dube of Toronto, Canada, Heather Welch of Nova Scotia, Canada, Eugene Welch of Nova Scotia Canada, and Janice Gerry and her significant other Paul Landry of Gardner, his four nephews Jonathan, Michael, Joseph and David ; several cousins; and his two best friends Jeremy and Gus.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Ernest Boucher; and his paternal grandfather, Everett Welch; and an uncle, John Dube.
A Celebration of Randy's Life will be held Friday, March 4, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Acadien Social Club, 193 Parker Street, Gardner, MA.
