Randy Gene Williams

Randy Gene Williams, 66, passed away at home with his family on March 30, 2026. He was born in Charleston, South Carolina, on February 17, 1960.

He was a man whose life was deeply rooted in his faith in Jesus Christ, which guided his actions, values, and the way he loved others. His faith was not only something he believed in, but also something he lived out each day with quiet strength and devotion. As a dedicated member of Beechland Baptist Church, he found joy in worship, fellowship, and serving his community, always striving to reflect God's love in his life.

Randy found great joy in life's simple pleasures, whether it was spending time on the golf course, casting a line while fishing, or getting lost in a good book. Known for his sharp mind and remarkable intelligence, he was also incredibly handy, able to fix just about anything with patience and skill. Above all, he was a selfless man who never sought recognition, giving himself freely to those around him. He will be remembered most as a loving husband, devoted father, and proud Gramps, whose quiet strength and unconditional love will live on in the hearts of his family.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Loretta Williams.

Randy is lovingly remembered by his wife of 48 years, Susan Williams; father, Larry Williams (Barbara); daughters, Lauren Williams and Allison Fowler (Nathaniel); grandchildren, Ari Dahl, Maxwell Dahl, Ivy Dahl and Lucy Fowler; siblings, Vicki Altizer (Danny) and Michael Williams (Linda); several nieces and nephews; and other family members and friends.

His funeral services will be provided by Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. Visitation will be on Monday, April 6, 2026, from 10:00 to 1:00 PM. The service will begin at 1:00 PM, with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
