Funeral services for Randy Wren, 68, of Winnsboro, Texas, will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, May 31, 2024, in the Chapel of McWhorter Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Thursday, May 30, 2024, at McWhorter Funeral Home.
Randy was born on December 22, 1955, to Carl and Ollie Mae Warren Wren in Perryville, Texas, and passed from this life on May 26, 2024.
Randy graduated from Gilmer High School Class of 1974 and earned his bachelor's degree from East Texas State University. He worked for the State of Texas and became the manager of The Milk Group. He retired in 2013 after 32 years. Randy was passionate about time spent with his grandchildren and his cattle. His hobbies included playing dominos with his friends and visiting squirrel camp at the beginning of squirrel season.
Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Kevin Wren (Brittany), Rob Wren (Annie), and Michael Wren; stepchildren, T. J. Nash (Angela), Robin Moody (Josh), and Carole Hendrix (Cory); sisters, Mayetta Shirley, and Freda Anderson; and 13 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, LeNeva Wren in 2015; and his brothers, Jack Wren and Joe Wren.
