Ratri Chowdhury of Yonkers, New York, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025.
Born in India in 1948, Ratri lived a life defined by warmth, resilience, and quiet strength. She was known for her poise and elegance, qualities that touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Her home was always filled with love, good food, and laughter - a haven for family and friends alike.
Ratri is survived by her daughter, Lipi Chowdhury; her son, Bibhav Chowdhury, and his wife, Erin; and her beloved grandchildren, Atreyu, Kabir, and Stevie-Dylan. She will be remembered for her kindness, her grace, and her steady presence in the lives of all who knew her.
A service will be held by the family to honor her life and memory.
