Raul Gonzalo Perez, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2025, at the age of 54 in Menifee, California. Born on January 10, 1971, in Mexico City, Mexico, Raul's vibrant spirit and infectious humor brought joy to all who knew him.
Married to his beloved wife, Crystal, for 25 years, Raul was a loving and devoted family man. Together, they raised a beautiful family of five children: Briana, Raul Jr., Vanessa, Jesse, and Isaac. Raul's legacy continued to grow with the joy of his seven grandchildren: Cali, Cash, Lakotah, Sage, Joey, Joel, and Jayden, who will miss their grandfather's playful spirit and heartwarming embrace.
Raul was a dedicated brother to his six siblings: Maria, Javier, Juan, Leticia, Peter, and predeceased by Fidel. He was preceded in death by his caring parents, who instilled in him the values of strength and compassion that he carried throughout his life.
For two decades, Raul built a respected career as a Countertop Fabricator at All Pro Countertops, where his craftsmanship and work ethic were highly valued. His colleagues will remember him as a man who took pride in his work and enjoyed the camaraderie of his peers.
Raul's interests were as varied as they were passionate. An avid enthusiast of racing RC cars, he found joy in the thrill of the race and the precision of the hobby. His love for the movies provided him with endless entertainment and a way to connect with friends and family over shared stories. Raul was also known for his talent in working on cars, especially low-riders, a pastime that combined his creative and mechanical skills.
A man of many talents, Raul also cherished the simple pleasure of taking naps, recharging with a quiet moment of rest amidst a life full of activity and laughter. His strong will was a defining characteristic, guiding him through challenges with determination and an unwavering sense of purpose.
Above all, Raul was known for his sense of humor and selflessness. He was always quick to share a joke, bringing smiles to those around him. His selfless nature was evident in the way he put the needs of others before his own, always extending a helping hand or a listening ear.
