Raul Rodriguez, age 48, of Austin, Texas, passed away on December 12, 2025, in Austin. He was born on December 8, 1977, also in Austin, Texas.
Raul was preceded in death by his father, Miguel Rodriguez, and his brother, David Rodriguez.He is lovingly survived by his mother, Judy Depaz; his sisters, Teresa Uribe, Dorothy Rivera, Sonia Rodriguez, Nellie Rodriguez, and Judy Ann; his brothers, Pete Perez and Ruben Rodriguez; and his brother from another mother, Reed Miller. Raul was deeply loved by his family and will be remembered for the bond he shared with each of them.
Raul attended Fulmore Middle School and later Travis High School in Austin. He was a passionate sports fan who loved all sports, but nothing compared to his loyalty to the Texas Longhorns and the Dallas Cowboys. Game days brought him joy, and cheering on his teams was something he truly lived for.
Raul will be remembered for his love of sports, his Austin roots, and the place he held in the hearts of those who knew him. His memory will live on through the stories, laughter, and love shared by his family and friends.
