Rawnie Sue Bargsley of Oak Hill, TX passed away on October 2, 2023, at the age of 84. She was born November 16, 1938, in Post, TX. She grew up in San Saba, TX, and graduated from San Saba High School in 1957.
Rawnie Sue worked as a teller at Bank of America, where she retired in 2001. She spent her free time gardening, spending quality time with her loved ones, and caring for her dog Daisy.
She is preceded in death by her husband John Edward Bargsley Sr., Father Lester Maxcey, Mother Malley Maxcey, Brother Bobby Jo Maxcey, and Infant Daughter Patricia Ann Bargsley.
She is survived by Son John Bargsley Jr. and wife Leslie Bargsley of Cherokee, Texas, daughter Donna Reeves and husband Barton Reeves of Cabot, Arkansas, grandchildren Jason Waits, Jordan Waits, Ashley Dixon and her husband Daniel Dixon, Dalton Reeves and his wife Stephenie Reeves, Cheyenne Reeves, and great-grandchildren Aidan Bible, Raymond Waits, Jamison Waits, Kamryn Reeves, Lawson Reeves, Harley Harris, Iris Dixon, sister Elizabeth Maxcey, and several nephews.
The family would like to thank Hospice Home Care-Searcy for the care and compassion they showed Rawnie Sue on her final days.
Family and friends are invited to attend services for Rawnie Sue Bargsley on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Cook/Walden Forest Oaks Funeral Home and Memorial Park, located at 6300 West William Cannon Drive, Austin, TX 78749. Visitation with the family will begin at 10:00AM, and the graveside service will follow at 12:00PM.
